CARS 24
CARS24 is a digital automotive platform transforming the way people interact with car ownership. Originally known for buying and selling vehicles, the brand evolved into a broader mobility ecosystem - offering services such as valuations, maintenance, chauffeurs, legal support, documentation, and other vehicle-related solutions through one integrated app experience. As the platform expanded, CARS24 aimed to position itself not simply as a marketplace, but as a complete partner for everything car-related.

Despite its scale and recognition, the brand had begun to feel outdated in an increasingly competitive and digitally driven market. The existing identity lacked the energy, flexibility, and modernity expected from a new-generation mobility platform. Visually, it felt static and disconnected from the evolving expectations of younger audiences who now engage with brands primarily through digital products and motion-led experiences.

At the same time, the business itself was undergoing a significant transformation. CARS24 was no longer a single-service platform - it had evolved into a multi-layered ecosystem with a growing number of offerings housed within one app. The previous identity system was unable to communicate this shift. It lacked the adaptability needed to support a broader service architecture, dense information systems, and a more dynamic digital experience. The rebrand therefore became an opportunity to redefine how the company visually expressed its evolution: from a transactional platform into an all-encompassing mobility companion.

Identity Design System

The new identity was built around the idea of “many services in one.” To express this, we developed a visual language based on layered forms and overlapping elements, creating a system that reflects multiplicity, movement, and interconnected experiences. These layered interactions became the core device of the identity, symbolizing the brand’s ability to offer multiple solutions seamlessly within a single ecosystem.

While expressive in concept, the system was intentionally designed to remain clean, structured, and highly functional. The visual framework allows complex and information-heavy content to feel organized, accessible, and scalable across digital touchpoints. Motion also became a fundamental part of the identity language, reinforcing the platform’s digital-first nature and bringing fluidity, adaptability, and energy into the experience. The result is a future-facing design system that feels contemporary, flexible, and built for the evolving landscape of mobility services
